GDP 132 | Case the Designer: Pretty Petal Palette Bundle

Whew have I been busy lately! I finally got some time up in my stamping studio this weekend - which was much needed after the crazy past couple of weeks I've had at my day job. Immediately I checked out the Global Design Project challenge for some ideas, and I was inspired right away.

This week's challenge is to "Case the Designer". Case means "Copy and Selectively Edit", and we're using a card designed by Stesha Bloodhart as our inspiration. You can check out the details for this week's challenge below:

I was inspired by the stamp set and also by the color palette of this card. I used the Petal Palette Bundle like in Stesha's card, and I've been wanting to try my watercolor pencils on dark paper, so I decided to do that to bring in the blue and yellow hues on Crumb Cake

I'm going to show you how I colored those flowers and that bird this week in my Facebook Live event! I go Live every Wednesday evening at 7pm CST on my Facebook Page. Make sure you head to my Page and "like" it so you won't miss out!

I love how this card turned out, and I can't wait to show you how I created it on Wednesday! I hope you join me!

You can purchase any of the other products I used to create this card by clicking the items below. Make sure to use my host code for a special thank you from me:
